Ranked #24 on Sunshine Artist magazine’s 2018 100 Best Classic & Contemporary Art Shows and ArtFairCalendar.com’s America’s Best Art Fairs – The Top 50, the Naples National Art Show is held in scenic Cambier Park and along 8th Street South in downtown Naples, Florida. Because of this national ranking and the beautiful weather in southwest Florida during this time of year, the Naples National draws some of the finest artists in the country. This is a juried art show with artists applying in eighteen categories including painting, jewelry, watercolor, ceramics, metal, sculpture, and wood.
The local community counts Naples National among its premiere, must-see events thanks to the high quality of the art, the engaging personalities of the artists, and the festive atmosphere. More than 20,000 residents and visitors flock to this outdoor weekend art show to enjoy the art, live performances, and world-class restaurants in downtown Naples.
New this year, attendees will enjoy a new, more walkable layout, extended hours on Saturday, and even a live band – the Blu-Tones – playing at the Cambier Park Bandshell, small bites available from Artichoke and Company and Naples Smoked BBQ, and beverages available from Rip Tide Brewery and The Wine Store!
This show raises funds for educational art programming for the Naples Art Association. There is a suggested $5 donation at the gate.
Show Artist Awards
The Naples National is the Naples Art Association’s only art show where awards are delivered to artists. Artists win cash awards for Best in Show, Best 2D, Best 3D and 10 Awards of Distinction – 5 in 2D and 5 in 3D.

Downtown Naples Festival of the Arts
he 29th Downtown Naples Festival of the Arts, which takes place on Saturday, March 18th and Sunday, March 19th, allows thousands of art-savvy festival goers to mill about the 230+ booths that participating artists set up under the canopy of oak boughs and golden trumpet trees that shade flower-lined Fifth Avenue South from southwest Florida’s brilliant springtime sunshine from Highway 41 west to 3rd Street South just blocks from the gulf.
The setting is definitely a big part of the allure associated with this end-of-season art festival, where artist tents and booths are nestled between rows of Mediterranean-accented buildings housing banks, stock and real estate brokerages, European-style boutiques, high-end jewelry stores, prestigious art galleries and some of the finest restaurants, bistros and outdoor cafes in all of southwest Florida. Old-fashioned city clocks, public art sculptures and a bevy of bubbling fountains add to Fifth Avenue’s aesthetic appeal and ambiance. Shoppers will have the opportunity to mingle with about 220 professional artists from around the country in categories ranging from original oils and acrylics on canvas to watercolors, 2D and 3D mixed media, limited edition prints, photography, digital art, sculpture, wood carvings, ceramics, hand-crafted jewelry, leather works and more.
Unlike a gallery or museum, a fine art festival such as this one offers savvy art enthusiasts the unique opportunity to meet the artists in person; commission a specific piece; ask questions about techniques; learn the sources of their inspiration and purchase fine works of art directly from the artists.
Festival hours are Saturday 10am – 6pm and Sunday 10am – 5pm.
There is free parking in and around 5th Ave S. or ride your bike!
Admission is free but donations are always greatly appreciated and benefit The Naples Art Association art education programs.
