On behalf of the Greater Columbus Arts Council’s board and staff, and all the Festival volunteers, we would like to welcome you to the 55th Annual Columbus Arts Festival!
The Arts Festival is proud to be the first festival to incorporate the new greenways along the Scioto River in its activities. From access by bicycle along the new park paths, to exploring new activity areas along the riverfront, the Festival looks forward to encouraging people to discover Columbus’ beautiful new riverscape.
As the city’s welcome to summer event, the Columbus Arts Festival has been providing an array of arts activities for Columbus residents and visitors for more than half a century.
The Columbus Arts Festival is produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council (Arts Council), the primary funding agency for the arts in Columbus. Funded by the city of Columbus, each year the Arts Council provides more than $4 million in support to artists and arts organizations through a competitive grants process. These programs employ nearly 2,000 artists and impact more than 434,000 school children annually. In addition the 3.9 million instances of attendance at nonprofit arts and cultural events each year is 1.44x that of all local major professional and university home sports attendance. People in Columbus LOVE the arts and the Columbus Arts Festival!
Our website at gcac.org provides more information about the Arts Council’s programs and the impact of the arts on our community.
